Maximizing the Dollar
Rippee Construction strives to maximize the value of each dollar spent while maintaining the quality and scheduling requirements of a project. Our services include understanding your vision for the project , providing multiple construction options to optimize current funding, and providing a phasing plan for future work. An example is the Multi-Purpose Teaching Facility @ Florida State University. We provided multiple construction options that optimized available funding and divided the project into three phases. Through management of the bidding process, the transfer of subsequent material purchases to the owner for tax savings, and value engineering throughout construction, Rippee Construction was instrumental in maximizing savings that allowed the completion of the first two phases of construction.
Master Plan Development & Continuity
Rippee Construction begins each project with an in depth evaluation of the owner’s needs. Budget constraints, existing conditions, future needs, and equipment life cycles are evaluated, prioritized and used to develop a master plan that maximizes the value and functionality of the project. An example is the Raa Middle School project for Leon County Schools. Rippee Construction development of a master plan that balanced the needs of the school with budget constraints. Over a span of nine years, seven phases of construction were completed. The scope of work included a new cafetorium and elevator tower, major renovations to nearly every building on campus, and new chiller/boiler mechanical systems to maintain the entire campus.
The workmanship and spirit of support and cooperation is exemplary.
